A Note From Adam
THE SECRET PROJECT PROTOTYPE IS HERE
You all know how much we believe people need more fiber. Many of you have joined us in adding a scoop of cardboard-flavored generic fiber to your protein shakes every day.
What you don’t know is that after enough scoops of that healthy sawdust, we started to think, “We believe in this so much, why don’t we make the best fiber product ourselves?”
There is a reason why, when we started discussing the first Pump Club physical product, we chose fiber.
We are going to tell you the what, why, and the how, but if you don’t need to hear it, here’s the TLDR:
We partnered with Momentous to design the most complete Fiber product in the world, with one unflavored option to mix into protein shakes, as we’ve all been doing, and one delicious cinnamon-flavored option that goes directly in water.
You will be the first to try it besides Arnold, Daniel, and me, because you signed up to be the first to know. We started with a limited-run prototype to gather feedback and see how it performs, so we’re selling 500 before we place a larger order and open it up to the masses.
You can get the Pump Club fiber here.
Now, let’s talk about the what, why, and how.
The Real Nutrient Deficiency
Fiber might be the most significant nutrient gap in the world, and eating more of it might be the single most impactful health change most people could make.
And I say that knowing how big a claim it is.
Here’s the part that finally pushed me from hunch to certainty: 95% of Americans don’t get enough fiber. Not 40%. Not half. Not even the dramatic “two out of three” that gets splashed across headlines.
Ninety-five. Nearly everyone.
When I first saw that number years ago, I assumed it was overblown. Almost every nutrition scare statistic is. But then I looked deeper. NHANES data. Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Multiple independent analyses. Recent mortality research.
They all said the same thing: no one is eating enough fiber, and it’s not even close.
In fact, on average, most people get less than half of the amount of fiber they should be eating.
It’s not a small gap — it’s a canyon.
And unlike vitamin D (which sunlight can help produce) or potassium (harder to change without major dietary shifts), fiber is entirely dependent on what we eat. The body can’t manufacture it. We either consume it or we don’t.
And mostly, we don’t. So we wanted to do something about it for years. But it’s been complicated.
The Fiber Files: What’s At Stake For Your Health
Prevalence is only half the story. Missing a nutrient is interesting; missing a nutrient with this much benefit is something else.
Here’s where the research becomes almost overwhelming in its consistency:
A massive review of 3.5 million people found that higher fiber intake is associated with:
23% lower risk of dying from any cause
26% lower cardiovascular mortality
22% lower cancer mortality
The Lancet review found that raising fiber intake cut heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and colorectal cancer risk by up to 24%.
And that’s before you get into gut health, appetite regulation, metabolic syndrome, inflammatory markers, and a dozen other downstream effects.
In a field full of mixed evidence and confounding variables, fiber is one of the few nutritional factors with:
High-quality meta-analyses
Clear dose-response relationships
Consistent findings across populations
Minimal downside
A solution that's accessible to everyone
It’s not magic. It’s mechanics. You give the body a tool it relies on to regulate digestion, hormones, inflammation, and blood sugar, and the machine runs smoother.
And yet, we still don’t eat more of it. This is the part that bothers me the most.
It’s not a lack of knowledge. It’s not a lack of options. It’s that the ways we’ve been taught to “get more fiber” are unappealing, inconvenient, or confusing.
You either overhaul your entire diet, or you drink orange sludge meant for constipation relief and hope for the best.
No wonder the nutrient deficiency never stops.
For years, this frustrated me. And each time, I kept thinking about protein shakes.
Before those shakes existed, getting enough protein meant cooking every meal, prepping ahead, and carrying food with you. Most people simply didn’t do it. Then shakes gave people a bridge: not a full diet replacement, just a convenient, predictable tool that made a challenging behavior easier.
Fiber has never had that. At least not in a way that people want to take it.
There has never been a convenient, good-tasting, complete-fiber product designed for overall health, not just for digestive emergencies.
So for years, I've been obsessing over this question:
How do we make fiber more approachable? More enjoyable? More automatic? Not more complicated — easier.
And that’s what led us to create something new.
Not a Metamucil knockoff.
Not orange grit in a glass.
Not a single-source fiber that only solves one problem.
But a fiber blend that tastes good, works across multiple pathways, and helps close the biggest nutrient gap we face.
We sat down and said, “If we could make the ultimate fiber product that didn’t just make people more regular but helped their microbiome and gave them more energy, what would we make?”
Because you know we were never going to put our brand on a product that wasn’t THE BEST.
We call it Fiber+, and you — this community — are the very first people who get access to it.
Now, when I say this is not available publicly — and won’t be for several more months — that’s not marketing; it’s reality.
We brought this formula to Momentous to create the very first Pump Club product. Because we know there’s no other supplement brand that could pull this off the right way and meet our standards.
You all know that we’ve been recommending generic psyllium husk for the past 3 years. It was the best solution available, but I knew a better option was needed.
One that tapped into the different benefits of fiber. That’s why our fiber is built around a more comprehensive approach.
Other fibers help keep you regular. We have multiple sources, including resistant starch, which taps into some of the magic of fiber: it feeds the healthy bacteria already living in your gut, which then produce compounds that support digestion, energy, and long-term health. Think of it as fertilizer for your internal ecosystem.
I don’t believe in silver bullets or magic pills.
I don’t believe in miracle foods or shortcuts.
But I do believe in patterns, and this pattern is undeniable:
When almost everyone is missing something, and when correcting that gap consistently improves health across dozens of outcomes…that’s not a trend. That’s a cry for a better solution.
Fiber won’t fix your whole life. But it might make more things work the way they’re supposed to. It might give you a foundation you didn’t even realize you were missing.
And maybe — just maybe — it’s the quiet change that unlocks bigger ones: If nothing else, here’s the question I want you to sit with today:
What if the thing you’ve overlooked the longest is the thing your body has needed the most?
If you want to try Fiber+, I hope it helps you close that gap. But regardless of what you choose, I hope you give your body a little more of what it’s been quietly asking for all along.
As I mentioned above, we only have 500 containers of Pump Club Fiber+ available. I want all of you to buy them so we can get your feedback.
We have two options: Cinnamon and unflavored.
Why cinnamon? Because Arnold loves it, and as a standalone drink, it’s truly enjoyable, which makes it a lot easier to squeeze your fiber in at any time during the day.
The unflavored is designed to be added to anything, from smoothies to yogurt or oatmeal. It’s completely flavorless, but like any good fiber, it will add thickness and texture. We continue to put it in our protein shakes.
We told Momentous that you — the village — would help us make the best fiber product available. We think we’ve created something you’ll love, but the next step is to get the product into your hands, have you use it each day, make it part of your habits, and then let us know about your experience.
Creating these special experiences for the village is what it’s all about. And at just $1 per serving, we think this is a product anyone can afford and that can make a real difference.
Once the supplies are gone, we have to ask Momentous to create more because this is it. Grab your Pump Club Fiber+ today, and let this be the simple change that jump-starts the health outcomes you desire. -AB
